Description
This special concert instrument is made of all-solid figured Koa wood from Hawaii.
Solid-figured Koa has been specially selected for this concert to produce a gorgeous-looking and well-sounding instrument. Beautiful abalone inlay in blues and greens adds further sparkle and visual interest, complementing the koa's iridescent figure.
This instrument features an OCS-designed fretboard in Madagascar Ebony, with modern abalone markers for the 5th, 7th, 10th, 12th, and 15th frets.
A pin bridge keeps minimal tension on the instrument's soundboard, with each pin inlaid with abalone to complement the body's purfling and the figuring of this select Koa set.
The headstock is pleasingly shaped with a koa veneer and an abalone inlay of the Ohana logo.
