Description
Classic all solid Koa meets artistic balance in this new OCS standard.
Gorgeous figured Koa has been lovingly selected for its beauty and ability to produce a well rounded and clear tone. Generous abalone inlay in blues and greens adds further sparkle and visual interest, and complements the iridescent figuring of the Koa.
This instrument features an OCS designed fretboard in ebony with white abalone markers in a modern style at the 5th, 7th, 10th, 12th, and 15th frets. Ensuring you'll always know just where to land your fingers during complicated chord progressions (and look good doing it!)
A pin bridge keeps minimal tension on the sound board of the instrument, with each pin inlaid with abalone to complement the purfling of the body and the figuring of this select koa set.
The headstock is pleasingly shaped with a koa veneer and Gotoh tuners -- ensures bringing your strings into pitch is always a joy and never a chore.
